The Golden State Warriors have been very active since the start of the NBA free agency period.
The Warriors re-signed Stephen Curry to a super-max contract, and also brought back free agents Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston and David West on new deals.
One player that the defending champions have not re-signed yet is center JaVale McGee, whose value on the free agent market remains uncertain.
A report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski indicates that the 29-year-old McGee has a meeting scheduled on Wednesday with the Los Angeles Clippers, but remains interested in a return to the Warriors.

Playing for his fifth team in an up-and-down career, McGee established himself as a dynamic bench presence this past season with the Warriors. McGee played just under 10 minutes per game, but still averaged 6.1 points per game. His impact extended further than the stat line, however, as McGee’s energy and work ethic made him a fan favorite throughout the season.
The Warriors situation at the center position is still a bit unclear. Reports indicate that Golden State is interesting in re-signing Zaza Pachulia, while the team is also hoping for contributions from Damian Jones and rookie Jordan Bell.
While the loss of Chris Paul from the Clippers is expected to hurt, McGee could fit in well with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, two post players who also like to play above the rim.
McGee revitalized his career with the Warriors, but it remains to be seen if the two sides can find a price point that works for both sides, or if a team like the Clippers will come in and sign McGee away from Golden State.
