After reportedly mulling retirement, center David West has re-signed with the Warriors for one final season, according to a report from David Aldridge.
David West, per source, to re-sign for one year—will be his last—with the Warriors.

West, 36, was a bright spot on the Warriors bench last season, his first with the team. The veteran acted as the anchor of the 2nd-team defensive unit, and often ran things on offense from the high post, using his incredible passing skills to find cutters for easy baskets.
It is unknown at this time, but assumed that West has signed for the veteran minimum, which has spiked to $2.3 million for next season. With West’s signing, the Warriors now have nine players under contract, not counting Kevin Durant who is expected to sign. As it now stands, West would likely be the Warriors’ starting center.
