Iguodala’s signing now gives Golden State 10 players under contract for next season, and 11 if you include Kevin Durant who will reportedly re-sign for slightly under the max later this offseason.

The announcement means the Warriors core is intact for at least next season, and assuming Durant is under contract or re-signs again next offseason, until 2019, when Klay Thompson will be up for an extension.
Iguodala, 33, is coming off another excellent season with Golden State, finishing in the top three of Sixth Man of the Year voting, and first in real-plus minus amongst NBA reserves. Iguodala has spent the previous four years with the Warriors, helping them to two NBA titles in the process, and winning the 2015 NBA Finals MVP.
