Credit to Kevin Durant for not shying away from spotlight and criticism. After he spent the entire season dutifully answering questions about his departure from OKC and even took to Twitter recently to chat with fans about it, the NBA Champion has now fully embraced his perceived villainy.
At teammate JaVale McGee’s charity softball game in Oakland on Saturday, Durant busted out a custom hat that is likely to get under the skin of more than a few Thunder fans.

The Oklahoma City faithful spent the entirety of this season calling Durant a cupcake after Russell Westbrook took a subtle jab at his former teammate by posting a picture of some cupcakes on the day Durant decided to leave. Fans dressed as cupcakes when the Warriors came to town and cupcake signs and posters filled Chesapeake Energy Arena. On Saturday, however, KD and the ring atop his cupcake had the last laugh.
