One of the best parts of every NBA and NFL draft is when a player is selected and his old tweets re-emerge thanks to the sleuthing of some tech-savvy fans. On Thursday, the tradition continued as multiple draftees had some less-than-flattering past posts come to the surface.
Terrance Ferguson, a first round selection of the Oklahoma City Thunder, was one of those who fell victim to the social media hounds, as it turned out the 19-year-old had a multitude of tweets voicing support of the Warriors over the past few years. Despite being a Tulsa, Oklahoma native, Ferguson made pro-Golden State tweets during the 2016 Western Conference Finals series and when Kevin Durant decided to leave the Thunder last July. Check out some of the highlights below.

It’s not like Ferguson’s inactive on social media these days, either. He tweeted after being drafted by the Thunder, but his replies were instantly filled with wary OKC fans looking for answers.

The shooting guard played last season in Australia after deciding not to attend Arizona, where he’d previously been committed. At six-foot-seven, he could fill in for free agent Andre Roberson in the backcourt, but Ferguson may have to do a little work – or at least delete some tweets – before regaining Oklahoma’s trust.
