The Larry O’Brien trophy is officially returning to the Bay Area after the Warriors dethroned LeBron James and the Cavaliers on Monday night. The Warriors won the NBA championship in five games, just a year after blowing their now infamous 3-1 lead in the 2016 NBA Finals.
Kevin Durant was crowned the Finals MVP after scoring 30+ points in every game of the series. In Game 5, Stephen Curry scored 34 points in his own right and Andre Iguodala chipped in 20 points off the bench, as the Warriors proved to be too much for the Cavs.
With the championship parade set for Thursday morning in Oakland, Ryan Covay, Adam Copeland, and Medium Impact Brian Banifatemi talk about the Warriors’ 2017 championship run and the future of the team moving forward.
