Scalabrine: Eastern Conference All-Stars against Warriors would be ‘compelling’ Final

By now, it’s definitely no secret that the Warriors are a super team. But how good are they? According to former NBA player and former Warriors assistant coach Brian Scalabrine, not even the best of the Eastern Conference may be able to stop them.

Scalabrine joined KNBR 1050’s The Audible Monday morning where he discussed Golden State as an “unstoppable” team.

“When the Warriors are moving the basketball they are literally an unstoppable team,” Scalabrine said. “No one can guard them. There’s so many weapons, there’s so much spacing, the paint is wide open. Why they reverted to isolation basketball in Game 4 I have no idea, but they need to get back to what they do, which is throw the ball to whoever in the post, do all the reverse split action, the cuts to the basket, the curls. When they’re doing that, I don’t see how you could stop these guys.

“If you took the entire Eastern Conference and made an All-Star team, could they beat the Warriors? I’m talking about with Lebron and Kyrie, maybe taking Giannis, Paul George. It would be a pretty good final, I think it would be a compelling final. But you’d have to take some of the best ever and that’s what it’s going to take to beat this Warrior team.”
