The first few rounds of the NBA playoffs have been, in the words of Brian Murphy, “Flat out boring.”
Until the Cleveland Cavaliers lost Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals at home to the Boston Celtics, it looked as if the Cavs and the Golden State Warriors would each sweep their way to the NBA Finals.
We caught up with Murph & Mac in the studio Monday to get their take on all the playoff blowout wins, and whether or not they think this difference in talent level between NBA teams is good for the game of basketball. They compared the Warriors 11-0 start in the 2017 playoffs to the adversity the Warriors saw in 2016, going down 3-1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
