OAKLAND – When Andre Iguodala was ruled out for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, the belief the Warriors have in their 2nd round draft pick, Pat McCaw, probably had something to do with it.
And the rookie didn’t disappoint.
McCaw made his presence felt immediately grabbing a couple of rebounds and nailing a silky smooth three pointer en route to an impressive state line: 18 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals.
With Kawhi Leonard’s status still in the air for Game 3 Saturday, expect Andre Iguodala’s availability to hinge slightly on the presence of the Spurs’ best player. If Leonard is unable to go next game, don’t be surprised to see the Warriors’ versatile rookie soak up at least some of Iguodala’s Game 3 minutes.
