Golden State’s Andre Iguodala underwent an MRI Monday on his left knee after a bizarre Game 1 in which he played only 10 minutes total and none in the second half.
The MRI came back clean, showing no structural damage.

The Warriors told media after the game that he was battling left knee soreness. Acting coach Mike Brown said the reason Iguodala didn’t play was because he looked “hobbled.”
While he has yet to light up this postseason, Iguodala plays a key defensive role for Golden State. During last year’s finals, the Cavaliers were able to capitalize on cracks in the defense that were usually sealed by Iguodala, who was battling back stiffness at the time.
