SAN FRANCISCO – The Say Hey Kid was in the house Thursday night, and he was treated to a serenade by thousands of Giants fans.
Willie Mays turned 86 years old this past Saturday, May 6 when the team was on the road in Cincinnati. In the middle of the 3rd inning Thursday against – coincidentally enough – the Cincinnati Reds, Willie was shown on the jumbotron at AT&T Park.
Public Address announcer Renel Brooks-Moon then led the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to the Hall of Famer. The moment was caught on camera by Twitter user @BaseballThomasB:

Willie Mays spent 20 of his 22-year career with the Giants, 14 of which were spent in San Francisco. He still spends time around the team, even traveling down in the spring this past year to visit with players during spring training.
Happy Birthday Willie!
