SAN FRANCISCO – Finally some good news for San Francisco Giants fans regarding Madison Bumgarner’s injury.
Bruce Bochy met with reporters before Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and said that Bumgarner will not require surgery to repair his shoulder.
“Four or five days (Bumgarner will) start some real light work,” said Bochy. “It’s going to be slow at first. Nothing major. Things are starting to calm down a little bit.”
In case you’ve been under a rock for the last week, you’ve heard about Bumgarner’s unfortunate bike injury in Denver. Bumgarner bruised his ribs and sprained the AC joint in his left, throwing shoulder.
