SAN FRANCISCO – Sergio Romo said the second thing he did after he became a Los Angeles Dodger (behind calling his father) was to look up when his new team would travel to San Francisco and play at AT&T park.
“I looked right away,” said Romo. “Why? It mattered to me.”
You could tell it mattered to the reliever Monday afternoon. Early in the contest between innings the Giants played El Mechon, Romo’s walk up song, as well as showed a short highlight reel of Romo’s best moments in San Francisco on the video board.
The video then cut to a shot of Romo in the dugout, who stood and took a bow in front of the packed house.
