In his first at-bat of the season at AT&T Park, Buster Posey took a fastball off the helmet from Diamondbacks starting pitcher Taijuan Walker, knocking him to the ground, and immediately out of the game. Luckily Posey was able to leave under his own power, and walked into the dugout with the head trainer to be checked for concussion symptoms. Nick Hundley replaced him.

As closer look shows that Posey was hit towards the back of the head.
Better replay shows Posey was struck more in the left side/back of the head. Scary regardless. Will pass on word once there’s an update. pic.twitter.com/ivvNQxLzW3
