49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock, who started in every game for the team last season, was arrested in Santa Clara on a domestic violence charge early Friday morning, as first reported by NBC Bay Area.

According to the police report, “officers learned that an adult female had visible injuries and was in a dating relationship with the male suspect. The male was arrested for felony domestic violence and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.”

Brock, 28, was released from Santa Clara County jail after posting bail before noon on Friday. The 49ers are yet to comment on the incident.

Brock is one of the longest tenured players on the 49ers’ roster after being signed by the team as an un-drafted free agent in 2010. The 49ers have had a number of players involved in domestic violence incidents in recent years, the most recent being former fullback Bruce Miller and defensive tackle Ray McDonald, both of whom were eventually released from the team.
