A little over four weeks after Kevin Durant sustained a Grade 2 MCL sprain and tibial bone bruise on his left knee, the Golden State Warriors provided an update on his status Wednesday, saying he is progressing nicely, and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

Shortly after the announcement, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reported that league sources have told him that the most likely comeback window for Durant is to return for the last three games of the regular season.
The most likely comeback window for Durant, as long as his progress persists, is Golden State’s final three home games, league sources say.

That would put Durant’s return on Saturday, April 8 against the Pelicans. The Warriors play the Jazz on April 10 and Lakers on April 12 to close out the regular season. A return before the end of the regular season would be ideal from the Warriors, who are playing some of their best basketball of the season without KD, and have won eight consecutive games.
