OAKLAND – Grizzlies’ forward and NBA statesman Vince Carter is closing in his 19th season in The Association. The 40-year-old veteran has logged north of 42,000 career minutes, ahead of the likes of Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Bill Russell.
But the times, they are a changin’ for Carter.
Late in the first half Steph Curry got the ball and drove on Carter, hesitating at the top of the key before stopping on a dime in the lane and putting up a unique two-handed layup.

Curry then decided to salt the wound by miming his shot attempt to the Warriors bench right after scoring in Carter’s face.
Apparently winning back-to-back MVPs gives you that type of leeway.
