Before the 2014-15 NBA season Iguodala Steve Kerr told Iguodala and Stephen Curry that if the team won the NBA championship he’d use a connection to get the two on Augusta National – one of the premiere golf courses in the world. After the team clinched the championship against the Cavs, it was one of the first things Iguodala talked about.
“When we won, I’m yelling at Steph, ‘We’re going to Augusta!’” Iguodala said following the win.
Fast forward to Sunday night and another great game from Iguodala, one in which the savvy vet filled the stat sheet with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Following the game, Stephen Curry said that whenever Iguodala plays well on the golf course, he then plays well on the basketball court. Iguodala seemed to like the theory.
