Kevin Durant’s rehab has been going smoothly in Oakland. He’s been seen around the facility without a knee brace, mingling with president of basketball operations Bob Myers.

Durant suffered a Grade 2 Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) sprain and a tibial bone bruise. The team feared the injury could be season ending, but instead termed the recovery as out indefinitely and a re-evaluation at the end of March.  Per the press release, there is no timetable for his return, but it has not been ruled out that he could play again before the end of the regular season.

During his rehab on Friday, Durant snapped a photo of a peculiar item sent to him by a fan: A potato with an inspirational message.

On the season, Durant is averaging 25.3 points per game, 8.2 rebounds and a 53.7 shooting percentage.
