LeBron James’s Cleveland Cavaliers Halloween bash made headlines over the weekend. The party featured elaborate costumes, and, apparently cookies that depicted the tombstones of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry for the 2015-16 season.

The cookies were obviously highlighting the comeback the Cavaliers made against the Warriors after falling behind 3-1  in the NBA Finals.

When asked about the cookies, Thompson responded in typical Klay fashion.

“Yeah, I don’t get it, cause I’m not dead,” he told USA Today Sports’s Sam Amick.

You can be rest assured that the Golden State Warriors locker room took notice at this jab by LeBron and the rest of his Cavalier teammates. This was one week after Nike unveiled a billboard of Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, that called out Steph Curry for missing several of his finals shots in Game 7 last June.

Golden State next plays the Cavaliers on Christmas Day at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Plan your entire afternoon around that game. Because it could get chippy.

As for this season, Thompson does need to look a little more alive on the court. While he’s averaging 17.7 points per game, he’s hit just 3 of his 21 three-point attempts (14.3 percent).
