The San Francisco Giants blew a league-leading 30 saves during the regular season, and two in the playoffs, including one that ended their season last night in Game 4 of the NLDS.

Former Giants catcher Brian Johnson joined The Audible on Wednesday, and said that San Francisco has to find a ninth inning solution this offseason, as well as patch things up in multiple areas, if they are going to have a shot at a fourth championship in eight years in 2017.

“When you do lose it, you learn from it. You come away looking to be more consistent, hopefully,” Frandsen said. “I think everybody wants to be a little healthier, but in the end we really need to be able to handle those late inning situations and need to have guys in there. We didn’t play very good defensively last night, so that can be improved. We can pitch better, we can hit more timely.”

“There’s enough responsibility to go around for everybody.”
