On Monday, police in New Jersey arrested Ahmad Khan Rahami for placing explosive devices in Manhattan and New Jersey over the weekend. Lee Zeldin, a New York Republican in the House of Representatives, took to Twitter to sarcastically connect the recent events to 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Suspect in custody. You are welcome Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick has been protesting police brutality against African Americans and other minorities by sitting or kneeling during the national anthem since the start of the preseason.
Zeldin, 36, served in the United States Army and was deployed to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division in 2006.
