Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson all won a gold medal last month in Rio. It’s quite the accomplishment, something to keep on the resume forever.
But apparently Durant hasn’t taken off his medal since winning it. A huge Washington sports fan, he wore it to the Redskins-Steelers game Monday night, sitting a few rows from the field.
Appearing on the Conan O’Brien show, Green was not afraid to call out Durant for his excessive habit .
“Well KD had his on at the Monday Night Football game last night,” Green said. “And we still have our group chat, and we all talked about him like, ‘Dude, give it a break.’ Go put it up somewhere. What are you doing? Everybody knows you won it, KD. Give it a break.”
