With the global presence of the NFL continuing to grow, the NFL will reportedly expand its reach to China to start the 2018 season. According to Daniel Kaplan of the SportsBusiness Journal, the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers have been chosen as the two teams to kick off the season.
Kaplan is also reporting the two teams would break the tradition of the season kicking off on a Thursday night, and, instead, would open play on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
