To fill out their last remaining roster spot the Warriors have reportedly signed somebody familiar.
The Warriors and veteran guard Elliot Williams have agreed to a one-year deal, league sources tell The Vertical. Strong partial guarantee.

The 6-foot-5 guard was the star of the Santa Cruz Warriors last season averaging 28.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. Williams was the D-League MVP in 2015, too.
A product of Duke before transferring to Memphis, the 27-year-old Williams was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. He’s bounced around with Philadelphia, New Orleans, Utah and appeared in five games last season for the Memphis Grizzlies.
With a strong training camp performance, there’s a solid chance Williams could latch onto the Warriors’ NBA roster. Shaun Livingston, Patrick McCaw and Ian Clark are the only backup guards on Golden State’s roster.
