The trade deadline is approaching and the rumor mill is working overtime. According to Jon Morosi, the Giants have shown interest in left-handed reliever Boone Logan of the Colorado Rockies.
#SFGiants focused on relievers right now. Boone Logan of #Rockies is one of them. (Would be an in-division trade, of course.)

Logan, 31, is putting together a strong 2016 campaign, and with the Rockies 13.5 games back of the Giants for first place, the southpaw is a logical trade candidate. He has thrown 25.2 innings in 38 games this season for the Rockies, posting a 2.81 ERA.
Logan has the ability to retire both lefties and righties and is known for his slider. He averages over one strikeout per inning and would be a solid addition to the Giants’ struggling bullpen.
