For the second time this season, the Giants will be sporting throwback uniforms. Both the Giants and Red Sox will be wearing jerseys from 1978 and 1975, respectively, in their series finale Wednesday in Boston. Phil Hecken of Uni Watch shared pictures of the orange jerseys the teams will wear.

The Giants first wore the uniform in a game against Tampa Bay back on June 18 and won 6-4.
Fenway Park is a fitting stadium to wear throwbacks, especially considering the rich history of both teams. The San Francisco Giants have never won a game in Fenway Park. The New York Giants own the franchise’s last win there, back in 1912. Hopefully the old school look will put the Giants back in the win column.
First pitch is at 4:10 pm on KNBR 680.
