Draymond Green has been arrested on assault charges stemming from a Sunday morning incident in East Lansing, Michigan.
MLive Media Group was first to report the news.
The Warriors released the following statement.
“We are aware of news involving Draymond Green in Michigan over the weekend. At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation.”
Green, 26, has stayed out of trouble off the court his entire basketball career. In March, he apologized for posting a Snapchat video of himself driving 118 MPH.
His Snapchat account from Monday also documents him not in custody, but in Manhattan, riding a helicopter.
We will have more updates throughout the day on this situation.
