CLEVELAND — The most interesting part of any practice day with the Golden State Warriors is when Draymond Green is surrounded by microphones.
Green described Wednesday’s Game 3 loss in simple terms.
“There was no X’s and O’s adjustment. They just punked us,” the Second Team All-NBA forward said.
The 10 million reporters in attendance at the NBA Finals are all working on various storylines and Draymond was asked a question about whether he looked up to LeBron James as a kid.
Green scoffed.
“I watched him growing up, but I don’t look up to any man,” Green said, boldly.
Had the Warriors won game 3 and held a 3-0 advantage, Green’s answer might’ve been slightly different. But you can tell from the look in his eye, his mindset was not to compliment a player he’s going up against for a championship.
