TNT’s Ernie Johnson interviewed Nick Young after Golden State’s 101-92 win in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals Monday night. This was the first time Young, an 11-year NBA veteran, has made the NBA Finals.
He responded the way you would expect from Swaggy P.
“I got a hat, as you can see, a t-shirt, and yeah,” Young said.
But what does it mean for you to get there?
“It means the world to me,” Young said. “I don’t want to be interviewed right now. I want to go turn up. I really want to go have some fun but you are interrupting my moment.”
This is the same player who said Dennis Rodman appeared in his dream and summoned him to play defense in Game 6. His postgame quote Monday night added another in Young’s long history of entertaining interviews.
The Warriors host the Cleveland Cavaliers, for the fourth consecutive year, in Game 1 on Thursday.
