SCOTTSDALE – Bobby Evans has won three World Series championships as a member of the San Francisco Giants’ staff. Hired in 1994 as a minor league administrative assistant, he worked up the ranks until finally getting promoted as the team’s general manager before the start of the 2015 season.
Evans joined Drew Hoffar, Kevin Frandsen and Rudy Ortiz on KNBR 1050’s morning show The Audible live from Scottsdale to talk about the outlook of his club heading into 2017. While he was on, he shared how Willie Mays told him once he should always be wearing one of his rings.
