Rookie reliever Derek Law had a rough outing on Tuesday night, as the first of five Giants reliever’s who allowed the Chicago Cubs to score four runs in the ninth inning, en route to an improbable 6-5 come from behind victory ending the San Francisco Giants season in heartbreaking fashion.
Law was one of the Giants best young arms in the bullpen in 2016, and has a bright future ahead of him. On Wednesday morning, Law posted a letter on Twitter, thanking Giants fans for making his first year in the big leagues memorable, and congratulating the Cubs on a great series.
